Remington 700 chambered in .222 Remington manufactured in Ilion, NY., circa 1985 ('LF' date code with 'B' serial prefix). Optics ready BDL bolt action sporting rifle features blued steel construction, black composite stock with checkered panels at wrist & forearm, an approximately 24" heavy profile barrel, scope bases and Weaver rings installed, internal magazine with hinged floorplate, manual safety, sling studs, solid rubber recoil pad, 'Jeweled' bolt, serrated curved trigger, and checkered paneled bolt knob. Bore is dirty, but there appears to be good rifling. The action is smooth. The blued finish is approximately 80% with storage residue (dried oil or CLP) that appears to come off, some very light scratches, and there may be some minor spots of rust. Stock is near perfect. this rifle is topped with a Leupold Vari-X III 6.5-20x scope with a fine duplex reticle.
